map change while zooming in/out / map rotation

Dino Janser Feb 15, 2018 06:30PM CET

Dear Xample Team
After installing the Switzerland 100k, 50k and 25k topo maps I can not find out the right order of the installed maps so that a correct change between the maps is possible during zooming in or out.
Changing between ICAO map and a 100k map seems to work fine but not between 100k and 50k and 25k.
Maybe this is a bug?

...and please add an ON/OFF button again for activating/deactivating the map rotation - for me the map rotation function is not useful but maybe for others it is - I don't see any reason for a permanent activated map rotation function...?!

Thanks for your help!

Yes indeed, the change (since one of the latest updates) in the map rotation functionality is VERY disturbing. When in flight, touching the screen is enough to modify the orientation... quite hazardous.

This issue has already been mentioned in many previous messages, with NO reaction from the AirNavPro team.

Please react

Dear Dino,

thanks for your message in our support forum.

The problem is that the 50k and 100k chart use the same level. It's not possible to change between them while zooming. You can change from ICAO to 100k and to 25k or from ICAO to 50 k to 25 k.

Our developers are looking into the rotation issue.

We are sorry for the inconveniences.

Best regards

Oliver Maiwald
