Directory to store maps an data

Olivier Aug 03, 2017 01:56PM CEST

Hi,

I have been using the ios version for my iPad. I have just downloaded the Android version for my cellphone.

As opposed to Apple products, android devices can be equiped with an additional memory card. As maps and data required to use ANP use lots of memory, I cannot afford to load them in the internal cell phone memory. I am looking how to configure ANP to define the my memory card as the support for the download, but I didn't find how. Can you please tell me.

In addition, I didn't find how define with the android version the webdav server to perform download by wifi

Last point, how to transfer from my ios version to the android one the waypoints, the routes, the aircraft, … (you confirm me that I don’t have to pay again the chargeable maps paid with ios ?)

Best regards.

Olivier

Dear Olivier,

Thanks for your message.

Regarding your questions:

1. The next version of the application (v. 2.1) will allow users to load the information in an external SD card. This new version will be released very soon (we're in the testing process).
2. The WebDAV server is a tool which is still not available in the Android version. It's not possible to import/export user data such as user waypoints or aircraft profiles for the time being. However, you can export/import routes. To do this, please take a look to the following article:

http://manual.airnavigation.aero/index.php?title=Import/Export_GPX_files_(Routes)

3. You don't need to purchase again products. For further information about how to synch your in-app purchases, please take a look to the following article:

http://manual.airnavigation.aero/index.php?title=Sync_purchases_across_devices#Android_version

Don't hesitate to contact us back for further information.

Best Regards,

Paula Rodríguez Almaraz

Thx Paula.
When you say very soon for the v2.1, roughly speaking when will it be ? I would like to assess if it will be before my next flights.

Best regards

Olivier
